Beau Hollingsworth

BEAU HOLLINGSWORTH Austin "Beau" Hollingsworth, 19, of Henderson, passed away Friday, June 15, 2007. He was born March 16, 1988, and was a lifelong resident of Nevada. Beau was a student at the Las Vegas Art Institute. He was a gifted artist and musician. Beau was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was the first grandchild of Bob and Terre Neuman of Henderson, and holds a special place in their hearts. He was his Grama's running partner five years in a row. They would listen to the soundtrack of Tarzan with the drum parts blasting to help them get ready for the run. They had many wonderful adventures together. Beau loved his family and friends and enjoyed just being with them, and of course he always had a piece of paper and a pencil in hand, creating pieces of art, sometimes even surprising himself with the picture that ended up on the paper. Beau enjoyed music. He played the drums for seven years, and was also becoming a talented bass guitar player. He liked to write music and lyrics. He loved all kinds of music from today's music to big band and Frank Sinatra. Beau graduated from Basic High school in 2006, where he was in the marching band and drumline. We, as a family, feel a deep sense of gratitude for the life he lived, and for the relationships and love we shared with him. Beau was preceded in death by his grandmother, Colleen Black Hollingsworth; his grandfather, Peter Douglas Domphose; his great-grandma and grandpa Hollingsworth; and great-grandparents, Memere and Pepere George Neuman. He is survived by his parents, Kendal and Donna Hollingsworth of Henderson; his three sisters, Ellen, Amy and Kate; his four grandparents, Paul and Kathleen Hollingsworth of Provo, Utah, and Bob and Terre Neuman of Henderson; uncles, aunts, cousins; and his extended family and many friends. We will all be together forever some day. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 22, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 303 Cholla St., Henderson. Graveside service will follow at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway. Contributions can be made to the Cumorah Credit Union.
