Laura Gilliand Peck Obituary
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, June 8, 2009, at 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Chris Lewis will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 8, 2009, from 11:30 to 12:30 at the funeral home prior to the service.
Mrs. Peck was born Oct. 19, 1923, in Hendersonville County, N.C. to the late Luther Vance Gilliand and Ada Mae McGaha Gilliand. She was a homemaker and of the Interdenominational Faith.
Mrs. Peck is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Edwin Gibson of Fairview, N.C.; stepsons, Vance Gibson of North Carolina and Bobby Peck of Gainesville; sisters, Estelle Reed of Gainesville, Katherine Morgan, Vermae Hodge, Sarah Hutchinson, Evelyn Rollins, and Ruth Isley, all of North Carolina; grandsons and wives, Franklin and Cindy Gibson and David and Pam Gibson, all of North Carolina; and special beloved friends, Gail Hollingsworth and Chris and Deborah Lewis, all of Gainesville.
Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, Ga. 30504 is in charge of arrangements.
