Dr. Dickerson was my professor at SFASU in Nacogdoches in 1979 and 1980. Loved his classes and learned so much due to his enthusiasm and connectivity with the students. He was a asset to SFA.

Ben & I grew up together as our parents were great friends. He & I went to Johnston Jr. High together & we both started high school at San Jac. He moved to Bellaire High when they first opened & was in the first graduation class. He won the first Houston Stock Show & Rodeo scholarship. He was very successfull in everything he did. May God Bless him & his family.

Ben was my boss, colleague, and friend. I would not have accomplished what I did in my career if it had not been for his mentoring and guidance. My family has many wonderful memories of his generosity and caring. The world has lost a true visionary in the field of aging. He will be missed.
