Benjamin Albright Obituary
Ben was born on August 9, 1957 to Thomas and Ruth Albright in Colby, Kansas. He attended school in Colby, and graduated from Washburn University with a degree in Criminal Justice to prepare for his law enforcement career. He served as a police officer, probation officer, and social worker for many years.
He lived a life filled with laughter, love, and numerous woodworking projects. He was an exceptionally skilled model ship builder and had recently started working with stained glass.
On June 20, 1981 he married the love of his life, Patricia Ann (Pat), and gained two bonus daughters, Deborah and Marcia. In 1987, son Ryan Benjamin was born.
He was proceeded in death by his loving wife, Patricia; his parents Thomas and Ruth Albright; and siblings Tom, Merle, Carol, Glenda and infant Kay.
Ben is survived by his son Ryan Albright of Bullhead City, Arizona; daughters Debbie (Jack) Pargman of Bullhead City, Arizona, and Marci (Rance) Ostmeyer of Osceola, Nebraska; Grandchildren Shilah Pargman (Ty Odom) of Spring Hill, Tennessee; Ashley Pargman of Bullhead City, Arizona; Chad (Shaina) Ostmeyer of Imperial, Nebraska; Todd (Sarah) Ostmeyer of North Platte, Nebraska; Kelsey Pargman of Golden Valley, Arizona; Emily (Alec) Forbes of Elkhorn, Nebraska; Jared Pargman of Bullhead City, Arizona; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters Melanie (Bill) Wetzel of Augusta, Kansas, Janice Kinsley of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and sister-in-law, Elaine Albright of Seward, Nebraska.
A family memorial service will be held in the spring of 2023.

Riding the school bus to school. We were neighbors. We lived on the next farm west of the Albright family. Ben and I were friends as kids. I was really shocked when I heard what happened in Levant. Ben was a true friend I will miss, but not forget him.
