Although I didn't personally know Ben Browning, I work with his daughter, Lisa. I know that Ben had to be a great person to have sired such a wonderful daughter, and I know he will be greatly missed by his family. Thoughts & prayers for you all!

Ben was the person that got my husband interested in roses. We had some beautiful flowers all because of Ben's inspiration.

Ben was so proud of his Buds By Ben roses. I bought several bushes from him and returned them to him several months later as a result of my normal brown thumb with a message Duds by Bon. I loved working next to Ben at GE. He will be missed.

I was so surprised to hear of Ben's passing. I worked with Ben for many years in GE Military Engines. I became friends with Ben as we worked together. We both graduated from Greenhills High School. Ben a few years before me. He shared his joy of roses with me. My prayers and condolences to Ben's family and friends. I am sorry I can't attend his visitation or burial due to taking care of my husband recently out of surgery and the hospital. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Wow this is shock to me and the Cincinnati rose community. Ben served as President of the Cincinnati Rose Society in 1988 and 2004 and volunteered in almost every rose show from the early eighties. Ben introduced me to roses and encouraged me to join the CRS. I have been a member since then. Ben and I worked together at GE on Military programs with Ben being chairman of many of the related Engineering Change Programs (ECP's). Ben was super active person and had lively opinions on many subjects. I will miss his personality and his longtime friendship.

I had the pleasure of working with Ben at GE for quite a while. He and I made a trip to Turkey, year???, to help their new plant set up their material control system for assembling F110 aircraft engines purchased from GE. We then took a train from Eskeshier (spelling?) to Istanbul (spelling?) and spent a couple of days there before coming back home. GREAT GUY!!!

I had the privilege to grow up as Ben's neighbor and "buddy". As many of you, I'm fortunate to have had him in my life. It's been an honor to have know him. RIP, Ben-----------------Cush

Ben was one of the happiest men to be in our Metallic Club of retired men. He was always sitting up front, enjoying and reacting to our speakers, and he constantly had a broad radiating smile both in his lips and his eyes. He was open to everyone around him, and his personality increased the enjoyment of others. And if you didn't already know it, he was the lead voice in harmonizing in the songs we sing at our meetings. We will miss his warm friendship and his marvelous voice.
