Benjamin Davis Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 13, 2025.
Benjamin Colton "Ben" Davis, 25, passed away on May 1, 2025, in Lansing, Michigan. Born on May 11, 1999, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Ben left his earthly home peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He entered his eternal home free from pain and earthly limitations. We are comforted knowing we will see him again.

Ben was a valiant warrior in his journey with Pantothenate Kinase-Associated Neurodegeneration (PKAN), facing each day with unwavering determination and a spirit that inspired all who knew him. His joyous nature and boundless energy were matched only by his persistence and courage. Even amid immense challenges, Ben remained a beacon of hope and strength.

Ben loved his church (South Church) and participated in AWANA and Sunday School. He loved being in the youth group and going to retreats. He eagerly and joyfully participated to the best of his ability and cheered and encouraged others when he was unable to participate himself.

He is lovingly remembered by his father, Frank Davis; his mother, Brenda Davis (Crownover); his sister, Rachel Davis; and his brother, Andrew Davis. Their lives were deeply enriched by Ben's presence-his laughter, resilience, his incredible smile, and the unique spark he brought to every moment.

Ben's legacy is one of inspiration. His determination to live fully despite adversity left an indelible mark on those around him. He taught others what it means to persevere with grace and to find joy even in difficult times.

A memorial service for Ben will be held on Friday June 27, 2025 at 11:00am at South Church (5250 Cornerstone Dr., Lansing, MI 48917). The family will receive guests for visitation from 10:00am until the time of service. Luncheon to follow after

service.

Frank and Brenda, Our sincere Condolences for the very huge loss of Ben. Terry remembers Ben as a very happy kid. I believe he had him in 5th grade Sunday School. We will keep you in our prayers.
