I was always proud of my brother Ben, being one of the best horseman with a reputation of treating his horses so well.
Nobody had horses racing still at the age of 12 like he did... Not many that I know of, can claim such a distinction. He always did things his way. His loving sister Bernice...RIP brother Ben...

With a saddened heart I say goodby to Grandpa from this Earth. You were a positive role model and true friend thought my life. Love you always dear Grandpa.

fond memories of Grampa Ben.at.the farm and the racetrack. Grampa was always ready to share his hand raised beef roasts with the family. Sundays were for roast beef and family gathering. He loved his tractors and vehicles and helped sons and grandsons with repairing their vehicles and pitching in to buy parts and tools to get the job done. Grampa surprised us in later years with wanting to grow kiwi trees, learning how to use a computer and being a talented story teller and writer.
Grampa and Grandma will be greatly missed...love to all the family

Saddened by the passing of another good horseman--lots of good memories of Ben on his Palomino pony on Post Parade at Hastings Park--many yrs ago now. Had one big win on "Postal Code" back in the late 70's for him---great horseman & greater man...Will B missed.

Another sad passing in the Fisher family--our thoughts are with my cousins & their families..Uncle Ben was one of a kind & a harder worker you'd never find---lots of good memories from Sandown & Sidaway Road when we were all younger--loved the "Just Gone Fishing"--best horse he ever raised.
