Lucile, Ben, Paula, Andrew and Nathan,
Words cannot adequately express the sadness I fee today. I know by receiving words from someone you don't even know probably doesn't do much for you all right now, but Dr. Hammack was a wonderful man on the inside as well as the outside. You all have lost a wonderful husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather. Please know that I share you grief at this time and my Love and prayers are with you today and forever. I worked with Dr. Hammack 1973-1985(Union County Schools Central Office) May God continue to keep you and bless you all.
Love Shirley

Ben and Paula, we are so sorry that we were unable to attend your father's service. Mrs. Brown is really not in good condition to travel any longer. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers, and we look forward to the time that we can see all of you soon.
