I had the pleasure of working with Ben while we were both attending CSUS between 1985 and 1988. We worked together as Accounts Receivable Clerks at Sierra Spring Water Company in Sacramento.
Ben was a kind, humorous, intelligent co-worker. He was always down to earth and got along with everyone. I never forgot about Ben, and thirty-four years after working with him, I decided to do a Google search.
I am very sorry for his wife's, family's and friend's loss. I am pretty sure he brought a lot of happiness to a lot of people.

Tara, I just learned the news about Ben´s passing. I was caught off guard. I always found Ben to be respectful, giving, and kind.
I know he adored you!
I know he made a difference in the lives of many advisors and many, many clients.
His good work will live on the lives of so many others.
May all of the memories help to ease the pain.
Sincerely,

Tara I am so sorry for your loss. I know how much you loved Ben and it was clear he had as much love for you. I so enjoyed the times visiting your home. Both of you made me feel like family. I know this is a difficult time for you, but in time this will heal. You have so many memories of your life together that Ben's love and caring will be with you for many years to come. Blessings to you my friend.

We were saddened when we heard the news of Ben's passing. Ben looked after us and our finances, making sure we were able to successfully get our children through college and to a financially stable future. However, Ben was more than our financial advisor--He was a friend and a Christian brother. He lived his faith. He always had a smile and a good word of encouragement when we saw him.
Just several months ago, I called him to ask if there were job openings in his company to help a co-retiree's son who just graduated. Ben sprung to action, talked to him, and helped him with his next steps to employment. That was how Ben was--he went above and beyond the call of duty.
We are thankful to God for bringing Ben into our lives.
To Tara and his family--may God's comfort, peace, and love strengthen you through this tough time. We will miss him, too, and will cherish our memories of him.

Ben´s passing feels like we lost a beloved family member because that is how he treated us for many years. He was so much more than a financial advisor. We pray for God to give strength to those that need it through this time of loss. This world is not better without Ben in it but at least he is no longer suffering. I picture him mountain biking and enjoying retirement, waiting for Tara to join him one day.

Ben was a close neighbor and friend of my son Jeffrey and the rest of our family. On one memorable occasion Ben and Jeff were "messing around" in the fields not far from our homes. They came running home because a good sized rock had rolled down a small hill and smashed Jeff's fingers!!! Ben knew what to do, did it and all was well!!! To learn of Ben's death was very upsetting news and he will be remembered lovingly by we Williams.

Hi Tara,
I'm so sorry for your loss. This is very difficult. I will always remember Ben and his margarita. :) He lived his life fully and is very well loved. He is in heaven now, not hurting, not suffering. I hope you find peace and comfort in that. I pray that the Lord Jesus will always be with you during this time and comfort you. Love you! :)

I am heartbroken for this great loss. I did not know Ben but I knew is bride all my life. So I know how their relationship sparked her joy and the adventures they shared. He must have been a unique kind of wonderful due to the things they did and the way they ran at love and life together! The Lord certainly was thrilled with Bens role as an excellent husband for Tara. Heaven is brighter because he is there, praying for Tara for such a great loss but glad their lives were generous to those who experienced their magic!

I´ll always remember Ben sitting in our deck as we drank Bloody Mary and Mimosas. He was so much fun, a great human being. I will miss him
