It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Ben, due to Leukemia, specifically APL. Benjamin Paul Morrison was born in North Kansas City, MO to Vincent Paul and Joy Lynne (Kennedy) Morrison on Jan. 5, 1993. He moved with his family to Piedmont, OK when he was 3 years old and graduated from Piedmont High School where he made many lifelong friends.
He was a journeyman electrician by trade but had many interests and talents. Among them were fishing, cooking, oil painting and gaming. He also enjoyed reading fiction and had an interest in philosophy but his biggest passion was playing guitar and jamming with his friends.
He was a loving son to Vince and Joy Morrison (Bixby OK) and a kind and caring brother to Alex Morrison (Tulsa, OK) and Sydney Morrison (Yokote, Japan). He is also survived by his rescue dog Lucy who adored him. He loved and was loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Meryl and Dorothy Morrison and Junior and Wilma Kennedy.
He enjoyed being with friends and family and having FUN was #1 whether it was making humorous YouTube videos with friends or being silly with his brother and sister. He consistently put the needs of others before his own. Ben's selflessness is a shining example of how the world could be made better. Though Ben is no longer with us he has touched many lives and his memory will live on in the goodness and kindness he shared.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to your local animal shelter.
A memorial service is scheduled for January 6, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Smith and Kernke Chapel in Oklahoma City.
