Benjamin PRASAD Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce that Benjamin Prasad passed away suddenly in Vancouver, on August 9, 2013. He is predeceased by his parents Elizabeth and Edward Prasad. Benny is survived by siblings, Catherine Green, Cynthia Noriega, Ben Prasad, Nadeen Hughes in Las Vegas; his family in Vancouver, aunt and "Mom" Patricia Rehman, cousins, nieces and nephews. Benny was much loved and will be sadly missed by family and friends. He will be remembered for his compassion and generosity. He loved sharing jokes and laughter. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from First Baptist Church, 969 Burrard Street. Interment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC. A reception will be held following the burial at 3:30 p.m. at The Hilton Metrotown, 6083 McKay Ave., Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Vancouver.

Thank you for always thinking of us, making us laugh and feel right at home. I will never forget when you came to watch the cousins perform. You always encouraged me and I will miss our conversations about music and movies.

Hey Uncle Benny,
It was a pleasure for you to be not only in my life, but all of our lives. Even my dad would tell me about times he would hang out with you when he came up to Vancouver to see my mom. Every time i came to Canada you always took care of me, whether is was preparing my room, getting me a pop,lending me all of your shaving supplies, and lastly, walking with me to the corner store to get food. You always had a smile on your face, no matter what. I love you, and i already miss you.

I love you Uncle Benny. while I'm driving, I still sometimes hear some of the funny random things you would say. It's a reminder that even though you left us, there's still a part of you that always stays with us. We'll reunite again sometime:)
