BENJAMIN B.
Unexpectedly, on Monday, March 22, 2004, in Pompano Beach, FL, of Fairport, NY and formerly of Pgh. Beloved husband of Donna (Dimperio) Sklar. Loving father of John Sklar M.D., Lisa Payne, Diane Musial and Debra Sklar. Brother of Frank Sklar, Wilford Sklar, Elaine Buettner and Nancy Morgan. Also survived by three grandchildren. Friends will be received Friday only, 2-4, 7-9pm in the EDWARD P. KANAI FUNERAL HOME, 500 Greenfield Ave., Pittsburgh, PA. Funeral Saturday at 10:30am with Funeral Mass in St. Rosalia Church at 11am followed by interment in Calvary Cemetery, Pgh.

For those of us who hadn't been near Pittsburgh in years, Ben provided a fiber option "Wall". I got off the information superhighway and remembered what I loved about my home town. The website he created was crammed with memories and useful information and fun and suprises. I am shocked by his sudden death, and saddened for Donna and his family. But he will always be part of that wonderful time last September when we were all kids again in Pittsburgh. I won't forget that time and I won't forget Ben who was so much a part of it.
