The Buckley family sincerely regrets the passing of Ben. During the years we knew him he lived in Fort Lauderdale and then Miami. We went sailing together and became friends. Ben became Godfather to my son Michael. We will pray for Sarah and Ben's entire family. Rest in peace Ben, Monika Bob Michael and Lanna Buckley Atlanta Georgia.

My name is William Torch, son of Boris Torchinsky,my father originally born in Zhytomir around 1886. Other Torchinsky family members are derived from the family name. I never knew of Ben Torchinsky, butbwonder if there is a family historical connection.

I had the fortune of having Ben as my professor at the University of Saskatchewan and later as a business principal in an engineering undertaking. It is with great esteem that I hold my association with Ben in both circumstances.

My condolences to the Torchinsky family. Ben was a very successful engineer who was much admired by his peers for growing a formidable engineering company from modest beginnings in western Canada. It seemed that every project that my firm UMA Engineering was involved with, one of Sam's companies was either our competitor or our partner. He touched the lives of many engineers and their families over a very long period - a life well-lived, indeed.

Raymond and Allan, along with so many others who knew your father, I offer my deepest sympathy on his passing. I was hired by your father in 1965 and remained with one of the companies he founded until my retirement in 2005. There is satisfaction to know that in his passing you can celebrate the end of a very long and productive life. The measure of a life well-lived is through the lives he touched. You can proudly and confidently say that his indeed was a life well-lived. May you find peace and comfort in knowing that his loss is felt by all who knew him.

Deepest sympathies to the family on the loss of your beloved father/father-in-law, and brother, Ben. I have fond memories of meeting Ben and Sara, as well as Max and Rose, as we travelled as a family to Florida for vacations. Ben and Sara were warm, kind, and lovely people who touched many lives, including that of our family.
