Benjamin TROMPETTER Obituary
September 16, 1984 - August 17, 2012
Benjamin Alan Trompetter was born September 16, 1984 in North Vancouver and passed away on August 17, 2012. He and his family settled in White Rock where he attended Ocean Cliff Elementary and Elgin Park Secondary. He found his passion in traveling which took him through the South Pacific and South East Asia which then launched him into a career as an adventure tour guide in "the land of smiles", otherwise known as Thailand. Ben was very much loved and admired by his family and friends who will remember and be comforted by his famous loving smile and spirit. A service will be held at Peace Portal Alliance in White Rock on Thursday, August 30. In lieu of flowers, we invite you to donate to Ben's favorite orphanage in Thailand, details to follow at the service.

Ben was one of those individuals with a larger than life personality. He lived each day to its max and influenced the lives of everyone he came into contact with. We are very sorry for the Trompetter's loss, words cannot even express how heavy our hearts are at this time. Much love to all his family and friends.

Tara, Alan, Tyler and Meghan,
I had the privilege and honor to know Ben and got to be pretty close with him since my visit to Thailand. Ben was such an amazing person and taught me so many things about life and just living!!! I will never forget his smile and laugh and all the good times we had. You all are in my thoughts and prayers!

Our son played soccer with Ben's younger brother Tyler. We are so very sorry for your loss. Please know you are in our thoughts at this very sad time. From what we have read about Ben, he put a lot of a lifetime in such a short time and saw and did much more than most of us will ever do or see
