Bentley Carlton Obituary
Bentley served honorably in the Marine Corps reserves, dedicating himself to the values of duty and service. His commitment to his country was a significant part of his life's narrative.
He is survived by his wife, Lorri Bumgarner Carlton; son, Benjamin Shiloh Carlton; daughter, Zoe Danielle Carlton; brother, Van Carlton; sister-in-law, Lisa Hancock; and many nephews and nieces. Bentley was preceded in death by his father, Jack Carlton; mother, Doris Carlton; and brother, Jeffery Carlton.
A service to celebrate Bentley's life will be held on October 18, 2024, at NorthGate Church, 1255 W Ridge Road, Salisbury, NC, at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Benjamin Shiloh and Zoe Danielle Carlton College Fund or First Light Ministry.
The funeral arrangements are being handled in North Carolina, where Bentley spent his final days surrounded by those he loved most.

Our prayers are with the family of Bentley. I foundry remember him as a classmate in elementary school. I have never forgotten him. He was such a good boy in school. Always loved playing kickball on his team. Such great memories. I´m sure he will be missed.

I know the love this family have for each other, and my heart breaks for them. I had the pleasure of knowing Bentley, who was always personable and kind, but more importantly, he was a devoted husband and a patient and loving father. I know this untimely loss has left a void in the lives of Lori, Shiloh, and Zoe, and my thoughts and prayers are with them through this difficult time.
