I worked with Bernie at Blue Cross in the Medicare Department. She was always ready to help, treated you with respect and knew her stuff. When meeting her at St. Ray's, we had some great conversations. Much sympathy to her family and friends.

Deepest sympathies to all who knew and loved Bernie! Tough on the outside with a heart of gold on the inside, Bernie was a good friend to all. I have missed our bus riding days when she worked for Highmark and the conversations we would have. She had such compassion for the seniors that she helped to understand their insurance coverage. Highmark was lucky to have her!

Bernie, I haven't seen you much since you retired, but I always looked forward to seeing you around the neighborhood. I am sad to know that our paths won't cross in the neighborhood again but looking forward to the day they do in the great beyond!

Love,

Patty

Bernie was like a Grandmother to me. She truly was a light in our family. Her personality, her hugs, her laugh, her smile, and her legendary baking will live on forever. She will be in our hearts forever
