Tom, Daniel, Michael and Jonathan, my thoughts are with you at this difficult time. I was shocked to hear of Bernie's passing. Bernie was a caring special person that I worked with for many years at Health Canada. Bernie always spoke of her family with pride, her kids were her life. Not only was Bernie dedicated to her work and family she was very talented, I have a beautiful piece that Bernie tole painted that I will always cherish.

Dear Tom and family, I only heard yesterday about Bernie through another co-worker. We worked together for a number of years and many of us have something that Bernie painted for us. I will remember her as someone who cared very deeply for her family - her children were her pride and joy. My heart goes out to all of you at this difficult time.
