I was out of town when the accident happened. I had just opened up the e-mail from Terri, advising me of your loss. My office mate's wife is Kathy Wilemon, funeral director at Hillcrest (who happened to be on the phone here when I received the e-mail). I asked her and she told me the service had just completed. God works in mysterious ways.

I AM SO SORRY for your loss - both parents and an uncle at the same time. You are much in my thoughts and prayers.

At least you have the comfort in knowing that they're still together in death as they were in life. If there's anything I can do over here for you, PLEASE do not hesitate to ask - I'd be honored to be able to help you.

I will miss my Aunt Jean and Uncle Bernie more than words can express. I'm thankful for all the precious memories that I have of our family gatherings and times spent together. They were two special people that brought great joy into the lives of their family and friends. I look forward to seeing them in Heaven with my Grandma.

Tragic news to hear of your loss! Mel, your folks were great people, so good natured and great to be around. I'm so sorry for you and your family.

Mr. Bernie and Ms Jean greated us as though they had known us all our lives when my daughter's family
(the Blansits) moved into the neighborhood. We were honored to know them.

I didn't know Bernard and Armie, but I was agood friend of his brother Danny. I do believe they were the same sort of kind and thoughful person that Danny was, and will be deeply missed. I know a great many in New York will miss Danny.
