One of the best ever. The generosity, hospitality and kindness he extended to me and my family are not forgotten to this day. The experiences and fun I had thanks to him are immeasurable.

Dear Brannigan Family,

So sorry to hear of Barney's passing. It reminded me of a time when I was living on 51st Place and he stayed at my house. For some reason my dog Skip would not let him fall asleep. It was along time ago yet, I remember it like yesterday. May God Bless your family. May Barney Rest In Peace. He was one of the good guys.

So sorry to hear about Barney's passing. We grew up together in OakLawn and went to grammer school at Kolmar. Barney was always the fun and friendly and kind person in our school. Barney overcame a stuttering problem to become the most outspoken great successful business person. Saw hi at our 40th HS Reunion he still looked the same. Feel blessed to have had him my neighbor and childhood friend. May his life and all he touched be a blessing. Patty Havlik Stern

Barney was a pleasure to work with in the cattle pit for multiple decades. He was never shy about sharing his feelings be it positive or negative, and I enjoyed his sense of humor. BNRD was fiercely protective of his dad who also worked in the cattle pit for many years. I am saddened to hear of Barney´s passing and would have attended todays visitation to pay respects had I been in town. My deepest sympathies to Kim and the extended family.
