Add memories that will last forever

Not sure what to say?

February 19, 2011

This is so belated. My sympathies for the lost of your soul mate. My vivid memories of Uncle Burn are always with you, Aunt Dora, and it was always evident how much you loved each other. He seemed like such a loving and caring man. I pray that God will fill the void that I am sure you feel with him gone. Once again our deepest sympathies, Steve, Lucille and Justin, Jared and Tim.

Hi Mrs. Colombe- Don't know if you remember me but, Dave played w/ me and my brother Eddy when we were in elementary school together and you lived in the house on Christopher Dr. It was always exciting to watch Mr. Colombe's big truck pulling into the street. Making that hard turn into the driveway as we watched from the top of the hill. It's been a lot of years but somethings you just never forget. Sending Peace and Love to you and your family during this sad time-

Dora - Our thoughts, prayers and condolences go out to the Coulombe family during this difficult time. Please take comfort in knowing that God only takes the best up to heaven. Bernie was a great man who will be missed by everyone, including myself.
God bless you.

I remember as child being told that mon oncle was a trucker. And I loved big rigs of course so he was intriguing to me. At my young age I didn’t think a trucker should be so easy going, funny and caring. But that is exactly how I remember him. So thank you mon oncle for my first big rig ride. And now that I think of it, the only big rig ride I’ve ever had. Thank you for all the times you opened your home to me and for being exactly the sort of uncle everyone should be blessed with.

I’ll miss you. Happy trucking.

As I child I was always overjoyed when he drove in with his big rig! I distinctly remember a bunch of watermelons once! He was a wonderful man who was always happy and spread that happiness to others. Big hugs to you and David.

This has been a hard road these last few months but you have been wonderful Dora and you took great care of your sweetheart Barney. Keep all the happy memories close to your heart and know we all love you.

Uncle Bern was such a loving, kind, dear man. I remember that he always had a smile on his face and loved his family very much. I loved his hugs and his laughter. I will never forget the ride in his Thunderbird with the port hole window in the back. I was a very young girl then but I was quite impressed.

Aunt Dora, David, Amie, Joshua and Ashlynn,
You are all in our prayers that the Lord will use the wonderful memories of Uncle Bern's love to bring comfort and healing and will help you to be able to smile through the tears. Our love goes out to you. Marce and family

Bern was a gracious & kind man. He worked hard to care for his family. I have many fond memories of him as my brother-in-law. My love and sympathies go to Dora and Dave and his family members. RIP Bernie. You will be greatly missed but may we all find comfort in knowing you are driving the big rigs in the sky.
