Bernard GOULET Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful death of Bernard Goulet on December 21, 2016 at the age of 75. He was the son of the late René Goulet and the late Béatrice Parker. He is survived by his life-companion Caroll Hamm; his daughter Christiane (Marc); his loving granddaughter Alexandra. He also leaves his sister Claudette (Don). He was a member of the Canadian Forces. He worked at Radio-Canada and the House of Commons. He finally retired and continued as a Captain of the Paula-D, where he lived his passion. He was also a commander of the Power Squadron and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St- Matthieu Church, located at 69 rue Provence in Gatineau. The family will receive condolences at 10:30 a.m. For those who wish to do so, donations to Kidney Foundation would be appreciated. Another year has passed without you and it has been a long one. I thank God each night for having you with me the day you left. Although the day was short, we had our lunch after you returned from the treatment, shared a few jokes, put my head on your shoulder as you gently smiled at me before you decided to lay down a while. That picture will always remain with me.
