To the Greenberg Family,
What luck that our Cambridge group house chose recent college grad Michael as our 4th housemate. That decision brought us Janet, Bernie and the whole Greenberg family. Janet and Bernie always said "yes" to proposed ideas for trips, visits and more - keeping our Cambridge connection alive and leaving us with great memories. We loved Bernie's willingness to get everyone in the van for road trips to Pittsburgh for Jon Edwards' photography show opening and youth hockey games -- we'll never forget it.

Deer Jan and all the family
Since we again crossed paths at the JCC Men's Club, our discussion of our times and friendships at Miami were always part of our lunches, I am so sorry that he will not be around. He was a wonderful person and a true friend to all. I am mortified and will miss him.

Our children grew up as friends and neighbors of Bernie´s grandsons Yoni, Ben and Noam. To say that Bernie and Janet were active grandparents is an understatement.
The support, love, enthusiasm and joy they both provided and derived from their steady involvement in the lives of their grandchildren is something we loved seeing and sharing. Bernie was a loving husband, father and grandfather - a vivid and wonderful human being. He enriched our lives and we will always be grateful for the privilege of knowing him.

I knew Bernie though the Men's Club. I liked him from the day I met him.
He was more than our treasurer. He was capable, thoughtful, a gentleman, and a pleasure to be with. I wish I had known him longer. My heartfelt best wishes to his family.

Years ago, in the hey day of the Western Reserve Wheelers, Bernie was one of my inspirations. He'd set the pace, and I tried to keep up. "Take your time, I'll wait for you", as he sped by--and he did wait, always at the top of the hill.
Nice guy, sorry we lost track- ageing and "issues" took over.
