On a whim I looked up information about Bernice Gerard, who (as a teen-ager living in Port Angeles, Washington) I used to listen to on CJOR (I believe). She was pentecostal and I was not, but she was bold and compassionate in her witness. I will never forget her, and I´ve doubt the Lord welcomed her with open, loving arms - a true and fearless saint indeed.

I was saddened to hear of Bernice's passing, but know that the Lord will say "Well done thy good and faithful servant." God indeed used Sunday Line on CJOR 600, many Sunday Nights to bring hope and encouragement to my life.
Thank you Lord for your daughter who served you so faithfully! Amen.

As a young girl growing up in Vancouver Bernice had a big impact on my life. Listening to her late night talk show on CJOR on Sunday evenings was the highlight of my week. Years later I went to work for her in the offices of Sunday Line and Fraserview Assembly. Her integrity, passion for the unborn, uncompromising faith and her strong voice are all things that come to mind when I think of Bernice. She was one of a kind and it was an honour to know her.
