Bernice Mildred James

Sister Berniece was a wonderful family friend, that I remember from a young girl.
She was a good friend of my mother. A wonderful person to represent our community of Emory Grove. I know that she is missed so very much. My God continue to comfort the family. Love and blessings sent out to all.

Let's think of Bernice as an angel looking over us each day I will remember her smile and the kindness she showed when I visited her with Donna over the years I also remember her as "Aunt Bernice"

I knew Bernice when I was working in the Montgomery County Head Start program.

We, Dorseys, LOVED living across backyards from you all! So many good memories of our children growing up together. Your mom was like a mom to us, also. Just as her love and spirit will live in your hearts forever, please know that all of us feel likewise. What a blessing!!

Another pillar of the old Emory Grove has left us. Gone but never be forgotten.

Mrs. James was one of the most positive influences that I ever encountered and the sweet, kind motherly care that she gave over forty years ago is still fresh in my memory. So sorry for your loss, but so thankful to have had the chance to be blessed by someone so special, God bless you and the family.
