Bernice Marie Joan Schatz

Dear Peter and Family. Sorry I couldn't make the Funeral Mass and Celebration. Bernice was always a cheerful person with a good sense of humour. I remember her being the Social Chairperson for the Newman Association of Vancouver for several years. I missed seeing both of you at this Fall's symphonies.

Dear Peter, Anne and Bill,
I am writing on behalf of my family who have all been touched by Bernice's love, humour, wisdom and beauty. Especially how wonderful she (and Peter) were to our parents, Janet and Bernard in their last few years. Unwavering kindness that we are truly thankful for. Thus, we feel your loss.
I have fond memories of her singing and playing the piano. And her wonderful dinners she served when I was visiting your home as a kid.
It seems she had a wonderful long life and was blessed with a great husband, two children and 3 grandchildren. I know she will be watching over you with great pride. We hope you will be comforted knowing she is in peace with God.
