Oh Im sorry to hear that he passed I did not realize it. Dr. Hassler(Bert) was a doctor in a long time friend. My mom Mary Mundy relied on him and he was the best doctor ever he gave my mom such care and really cared about her and us. We went to him when we were little and up to our teens. All five of us kids. And my mom love Dr. Buds they were great people. He even came to my moms funeral In 2002. I really believe he loved my mom and cared for her very deeply. He was the best doctor and Dr. Buds oh my goodness she was great. I remember when his poor son died. Motorcycle accident right by their house. That was terrible. And I remember his other son came into my Costco Cabot and Crown Valley in Laguna Niguel. It was nice to see him.

It is with great sadness that I bring the news of passing of my father at 4:04 pm on October 19, 2018

I will not say that he was necessarily a popular man but he was loved by many. He believed in thoughts over stuff. He believed in truth over fluff or political correctness. He believed in working hard over taking the easy way. People who knew him definitely looked on him as a good man knowing that they would get a good shake and a straight answer from him.

He was a mixture of German and British back bone where he truly stood as a man.

...where he would stand up for the truth.

... where where he would stand for the principle of doing the right thing

... where he would look to see that first things should be first and not that the third or fourth things should be first

He was a good man and I tremble right now simply thinking of his departure...

My father, I am so grateful for the lessons you taught me and I know God put you in my life for a purpose. I cry, shaking to the bottom of my soul, at the thought of your departure...

My friends, I thank you for your prayers and I simply state that I can hope only to live up to that same standard of my father's mettle where he held dignity and honor as part of his character.

Thank you for your friendship, thoughts, and prayers

God bless
Scott
