My family and I met Burt in 1989. It was when his daughter Laurie moved into her house the same time we did. We had hundreds of converstions over the years about baseball, life and other things. Neither I or anyone in our family have ever met a more dedicated husband & father. We are truly saddened by his passing. But this is also the Lord's gain. Our prayers continue for the whole Leyva family.
