To my cousins-Sonny, Martha, David, Betty, and Faye:
I was saddened to hear of the passing of Aunt Bert. Life has a way of spreading families and keeping them apart. When mom passed I got a lot of her pictures and newspaper clippings so I really have a lot of memories of your family. I have not seen any of you for a while but as I look at the clippings I think of you. May the Lord be with you and lift you up in this hour of sorrow.
Love,
Your cousin,
Philip (Danny) Houser

Dear family: To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We loved Miss Bert and she was a joy to be in our church and our S.S. class. Our Pastors, our Class and our Hearts Alive group (Homebound Ministry) visited her many times....at her home...the Nursing Home and hospital and we loved talking about past times.
May the Lord give you Peace and Comfort to know she is where she wants to be.....with our Lord.

So sorry for your loss, my condolences to the family. She was a remarkable lady that I have known for a number of years. May there be peace knowing she is rejoicing in heaven with our savior Jesus.
