Bertha Wasnewsky

Bertha A. (Rumski) Wasnewsky, 87, of Franklin, died November 30 in the Medway Country Manor. She was the wife of the late Eugene A. Wasnewsky who died in 2002. Born in Franklin, September 5, 1928, the daughter of the late Charles J. and Mary (Richus) Rumski, Mrs. Wasnewsky was a lifelong Franklin resident. A homemaker most of her life she had worked at the Herman Shoe Company before her marriage. She is survived by her son Vincent A. Wasnewsky and his wife Jan of Franklin. He is also survived her grandchildren, Laura and Daniel Wasnewsky. She was the sister of the late Anne Billings, Valentine Rumski and Mary Rumski. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 3, in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Medway. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Friends of Franklin, 50 Corbin Street, Franklin, MA 02038.
