So sorry to hear of Beryl's passing. I will always remember those first years of her teaching, moose meat sandwiches for her students and those wonderful sunny summers at the Lake, long weekend trips and the summer at UBC when we stayed at my parents home in North Vancouver. My condolences to John and family.

Beryl was a memorable person and added much to Charella Gaedens along with June Hallet. She was a wonderful Esl teacher who thought hard about how she taught and what her students needed. Although I have been away fromPG for 16 years, I will always remember this wonderful person. Good thoughts for John, Steven, and Kevin.

Beryl and my mother, Lois Rush, were great friends when they worked at Heritage Elementary. I will always remember her. We both remember John from teaching PE at PGSS. Those were the days ....

Beryl was such a strong advocate for her students and a decisive influence in the growth of an ESL programme that would meet the needs of a varied group of learners. I shall always remember her laugh - you could not help but laugh with her. My deepest sympathy to John, Kevin and Steven.

Sorry to hear of Beryl’s passing. I’ve many fond memories of our school days together. Although I moved from PG many years ago I always enjoyed catching up at the reunions. It always felt like we’d never missed a beat. My
