Beryl Ann-Orr Holland

I was Beryl´s trainer for years. Every-time she came into the gym everyone would gravitate to her. She always looked absolutely beautiful and everyone wanted to know her beauty secrets. She shared them with me one day, egg whites for your facial skin was the best beauty secret ever. I use to refer to her as Mom. Now that she is gone there´s a void in my life, a missing piece. She was special and I will always miss her.

I have known Beryl for over a decade as she and her sons frequented our oceanfront restaurant on Singer Island for the live music; she likes the Beatles, Mark likes The Stones. She was so kind to me and I will miss her very much. She was kind to everyone and they were always joined at their table by the patrons and musicians- everyone called her "Mom"
I think it is truly fitting for someone who loved and lived her life to the fullest to spend the last three days of her ninety seven years in this world enjoying Walt Disney World! Classic.

I met Beryl and her son Mark when I joined Loggerhead Marinelife Center as a volunteer in 2021. A lovely lady who always had a kind word for everyone. "Good morning, darling, you're so beautiful" is what she would say to me. We would have many conversations about life, and I would listen in amazement at her stories. She was a pioneer and rule breaker and lived life on her own terms, and what a wonderful life it was!
