BETHANY EPPERSON Obituary

Obituary
Bethany Viola Epperson Hardesty, born January 26, 1986 in South Carolina, quietly leveled up March 11, 2022 in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Raised on the Eastern shore of MD by her father, David Epperson, Bethany was the youngest of three. Though the baby of the family, Bethany was a force to be reckoned with. She lived a life that most of us could only hope to attain. She lived voraciously, loved openly, and gave unquestionably. The legacy she leaves behind is one of fortitude and generosity.

Bethany graduated from Stephen Decatur high school in 2004 and from Salisbury University in 2010 with a degree in psychology. She left the Eastern Shore to pursue a career in restaurant management, where she excelled and gained the respect of her colleagues while moving her career forward.

Her pursuits with her loving husband, Michael, took her to Germany in 2021; with many adventures planned. Her aptitude for learning and understanding was only matched by her love of adventure. Over her short 36 years Bethany backpacked across Europe, through Central America, and even embarked on a cruise out of Baltimore. Once. Her passions were strong, and her visions anchored. A truly bright, kind, and sometimes all too pragmatic light has been snuffed far too soon. Bethany would hold the hand of the weakest, raise a chalice to the finest, and fit in no matter the occasion.

She is painstakingly bid adieu by her father, David (Donna) Epperson, who has been a constant rock in her life; Michael Hardesty, her soulmate and husband; her beloved pets, Winston, Noob, and Pig; her best friend and confidant Katie (Jeremy) Bohall; her brother Christopher (Jennifer); and sister Emily (Brian); as well as the finest of nieces and nephews; Karina, Clementine, Desmond, Sydne, Evelynne, Hazel, Roddy, August, Irene, and Liam. She also leaves behind the most amazing aunt Pam, uncle Mike, and cousin Daniel (Maureen). Bethany's many friends will mourn her, but her legacy will remain.

For the life she lived was too short; the memories she bestowed and lessons she gifted us will keep her alive in our hearts forever. Remember the good times; she'd want it that way. *And she will always be better than all of us at phase 10*
