Trapped under the falls at Kimball's

Oh Betsy, i miss you so! I remeber the day you opened your trunk of beautiful antique dresses and 3 of us slipped into them while Russell made us a couple of wild drinks. Silly you...you fished out some old roller skates and off we went down Lawsbrook Rd, weaving wildly in the afternoon traffic. My kids still do not believe I was playing "dressups"! I recall gasping in wonder and a tad of envy when a gorgeous feathered and netted wide brimmed hat strolled into the Nines in Concord Center and there you were smiling charmingly as you sat at our table. Oh...remeber the day you showed me, Fran, Mary & Margy your pole dancing expertise at Fran's pool party in 2006. In 1992 we all had a blast at our Murder Mystery Dinner on Martha's Dinner Barge. You & I played such vamps but your feather boa and strings of pearls stole the show!. I can still feel the shock of cold water when we trapped your bumper boat under the falls at Kimball's just 2 summers ago. Will I ever feel the joy of acting like child playing with the giant bubbles again in fran's back yard or watch & hear the hills of Tanglewood come alive with music like we that beatiful day in July 2000. You think of everything! There I was, just this July, laid up in the rehab dept at EH with a broken leg and you brought the pool party to me via those outrageous squirt guns. I laughed my pain away and I think all the other patients were green w/ envy. Speaking of patients...no one could have taught the sexual component of our Coronary Teaching Progran in our EH CCU like you. You had them laughing so hard, no one found a moment to be embarrassed! Thank you for your wild and wonderful joie de vivre. You lived your life your way and we are all blessed because of you. I love you & I miss you

Betsy and I started at Masspro on the same day along with Anne Barry. She brought joy to everyone she knew and looked at life in a special way. Betsy always looked for the fun in life and will be missed by all who knew her.
