Bette was an absolute angel! I was a tenant in 3 different buildings that she managed for the sweet and generous Buehler family. Each time a big "life change" was happening for me and she was such a huge support and an absolute life-line. She always made me feel like a priority. She always had solutions and problem-solved with a huge smile on her face and usually with a laugh or two. I lived in the adjacent building next to her apartment for a time period and each time we saw each other she would always smile and say hello. It always made my day brighter! Thank you Bette for all of the support and friendship during my time in Boston. The apartments were so well managed by you, such a highly personal experience. I will miss your smiling face and think of you every time I think of my 18 years spent in Brookline. Hugs and more hugs!

My sincerest condolences to Bette´s family and dear friends - we were two of Bette´s tenants in Brookline for 3 years. We still talk about how Bette was the best manager anyone could ask for and I´ve described her as a "unicorn landlord" to friends before. We will always be grateful for the common sense and kindness with which she approached apartment rentals. In addition to the pansies and tulips mentioned, during our years on Longwood Ave, Bette arranged for New Guinea Impatiens to be planted every spring. We now plant New Guinea Impatiens at our home every spring, too. There are too few "Bettes" out there. Thank you, Bette, for creating such a community in Brookline.

Oww, Bette! Your warm smile and high hugs will be so dearly missed! But your example of faith in Jesus and the practical and loving ways you showed us that so often will not die! They will keep growing in our spirits, as they have always been, by the grace of The Holy Spirit. I know you rest in perfect peace, but what more can I say that I praise The Lord and thank Him for your life! And thank you so much to you and Don, for all you are, and all you were together! See you at your new home one of these days, and I'm looking forward to have some delicious coffee and chat again! Lots of love, my beloved sister!
