Ben & I were her office assts in high school & I know she held a special place in her heart for us.....even tho I'm sure lotsa CHS folks feel the same way. Thanks for sharing your mom with me.........I truly loved being around her.

Tanya&family
I am so sorry for the passing of your mom. Some of my fondest memories from CHS involved you and your parents. We never knew who was in trouble or just visiting your mom in the office! People forget what a difference a kind or encouraging word can make to a young girl but not your mom and I will forever be grateful for that. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I will always remember her as being the most forgiving Asst. Principal's secretary. We could be late, skip school or leave campus for lunch - - - and she was always one of us and let us back on campus without any consequences. I'm sure that she understood that she was giving us life lessons, even when we were doing the wrong thing. Oh, and it helped that Katrinka was with us most of the time! I'm so sorry for your loss. The world is a much sadder place without her!

Dear Sheila and Family. I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I have never met Betty Jo, but I know from family stories you have told me, what a strong and good hearted woman she was. I know all the help and hard work she did for your grandmother will never be forgotten. What strikes me as I look at the family photos, is how pretty your mom always looked and how she always had such a nice hair do and personal appearance. I see that you favor her. God Bless you always. Love you. Beverly Luther, Houston, Texas
