Bettie Lou Barley, age 57, of Richmond, died on Friday, November 19, 2004. She was preceded in death by her son, Keith Barley and brother, Charles Barley. Surviving are her children, Patricia, Dawn and Kenard Barley; seven grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; two sisters, Mary and Bernice Barley; one sister-in-law, Geraldine Barley; two nephews, 12 nieces; four great-nephews; two devoted friends, Joseph H. Brown and Arthur Hampton. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where the family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. and where funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m., Rev. Doug Ross, officiating. Interment Mt. There are never words enough to express how one feels,just know that my thoughts & prayers are with you all at this time. God will wipe away all of your tears & heartfelt pains. Remember she's at peace it's us that not.
