Thoughts and Prayers go out to Bettie's family! What an amassing lady! Loved by all she touched! The Mother Teresa of Lufkin! I could not attend any services due to my health! She always said a prayer on the spot when we met! She will be missed greatly here on earth but may she Forever Rest in Peace in the House of the Almighty Lord! Until we meet again sweet friend and Family!

All the wisdom that Rev. Kennedy over many years has bestowed upon my wife and I will be greatly missed. May your family be blessed as we are praying for you in your time of sorrow.

Sorry to hear about Mrs. Kennedy, she was my teacher at the little white building called Caver. I remember she always said do your best, that sticks with me today. She tried hard to help us understand what was going on in America during the sixties, She inspire lots of us at a very young age. Always willing to help. She would say you need to learn this, and make sure you write well so someone will be able to read it.A very like person growing up. Her early teaching will stay with me all my life. RIP. You will be missed.
