Kari and I will always treasure our friendship with the joyously inspiring Betty Belk. Her smile reminded us to look at life with rose colored glasses. She was a mischievous goddess who made being the wife of Blanton, the mother of Katie and Jenny, the grandmother of Chameli, Surina, Tommy and Teo, and mother figure of 20,000 UWP members seem easy as pie. Love was her superpower and we were all the better for it. It´s hard to say goodbye to a woman who was such an earth angel. But now she is our heavenly angel and we´ll be keeping our hearts out for her and her beautiful family.

I have very fond memories of attending two of her dinner parties in the early 70s. This Beautiful lady that helped raise two beautiful daughters. God bless Blanton and all of the family.

Betty was one of the most positive upbeat persons I have ever met. It was a privilege to have known her.
