Betty J. Clark, 82, of Powdersville, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.

Born in Walterboro, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruth Blocker. Betty was a graduate of Mars Hill University and spent over 20 years as an executive assistant with Fluor Corporation. She was a devoted member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church, where she actively participated in Sunday School, collected Bibles, and shared meals with others in her community.

Betty loved to cook, fish, shop, and especially enjoyed trips to the beach surrounded by her family. She is remembered for her sweet spirit, loving nature, encouraging words, joyful laughter, and a radiant smile that could light up any room. Above all, she loved the Lord.

She is survived by her son, Gary W. Clark (Kellie) of Powdersville; her daughter, Rhonda Lister (James) of Anderson; her sister, Kay Newsome (Phil) of Beaufort, South Carolina; two nephews, Greg and Brad Broxton; 8 grandchildren, Jac Clark of Asheville, North Carolina, Eli Clark of Easley, Ethan Clark (Haley) of Raeford, North Carolina, Fawn Allen (Carter) of Powdersville, Lily Clark of Powdersville, Lila Lanford of Simpsonville, David Lister (Tori) of Anderson, and Daniel Lister of Anderson; and one great-grandchild, Chase Clark of Raeford, North Carolina.

A viewing will take place on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. A private family burial will be held in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Samaritan's Purse, www.samaritanspurse.org.
