Betty Ebanks Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from May 20 to May 21, 2017.
Betty Ebanks passed away in her sleep early Tuesday morning, May 15th and is now reunited with her husband Ausley. The spiritual rock of her family, Betty is survived by her children Steven, Heidi and Troy and their spouses, as well as her 11 beautiful grandchildren. She also leaves her brother David Sparks and sister Tessia McAllister behind and joins her sisters Bethea Parsons and Georgia Koehler who previously passed. Born and raised in the small town of Rupert, Idaho, Betty's home for the past 60 years has been S. Florida, where her and her husband raised their 3 children. Before retirement Betty worked as a medical office manager. She also served faithfully in her church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Betty and her husband Ausley served several missions for the church together including managing the local Bishop's storehouse that provides for needy members of the church. She served many people throughout her life but in the past several years she was the gracious recipient of much loving service by many friends and family. Betty will be remembered forever by family and friends as a strong woman of great faith. She loved people and had a way of making them feel good when she was around. Viewing will be held Thursday May 25, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens South, 2401 Davie Road, Davie, Florida 33317. Memorial services will be held Friday, May 26th 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 851 N. Hiatus Rd. Plantation, Florida 33325

It is with great sadness that I am signing this guest book and lighting a candle for Sister Ebanks. My prayers go to a wonderful family that I enjoyed growing up with.
