Ennis, Betty Jane, 88 of Largo, FL passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014 at Sabal Palms Health Care Center in Largo, FL. Betty was born on May 24, 1926 in Wyandotte, Michigan to the late Sydney & Lillian (Powell) Dryhurst. She graduated from Roosevelt High School. Betty married Louis F Ennis of Trenton, Michigan on February 16, 1946. She worked with Lou at KEH Insurance Agency in Southgate, Michigan and they retired to Largo in February of 1981. Betty enjoyed knitting and crocheting, cross stitch and playing cards with friends. Lou passed away on February 1, 2009. Betty is survived by two children: Luanne Ennis Law of Clearwater, Florida and Mark Ennis, Sr of Hernando, Florida along with four grandchildren: Elizabeth Law, Mark Ennis, Jr, Robert Law and Matthew Ennis and three great-grandchildren: Lukas Law, Chase Brown and Layne Brown. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be offered to Suncoast Hospice at http://www.thehospicefoundation.org/. Condolences may be offered at www.serenityfuneralhomelargo.com.
