Betty Hallmark Obituary
Betty J. Hallmark, 64, Russellville, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Helen Keller Hospital.
She lived her entire life in Franklin County and was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church until it closed, and then she attended Tharptown Baptist Church.
The family received friends on Friday, March 6, 2015, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral services will be today, 11 a.m., in the funeral home chapel with Andy Cansler and Nelson Broadfoot officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Creek Cemetery in Leighton.
Survivors include children, Michele Harris and husband, Shane, and Allan Hallmark and wife, DeAnn; sister, Lorain Baker and husband, James; brothers, James Cansler and wife, Pat, Andy Cansler and wife, Debbie, and Donny Cansler and wife, Brenda; grandchildren, Eden and Ella Franks, Lia, Lawson, and Luke Hallmark, and Lillie Harris; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by, husband, Melvin Eugene Hallmark, parents, William and Ruby Cansler, siblings, Brenda Jacobs and Ronny Cansler, son-in-law, Jimmy Franks, and nephew, Andrew Cansler.
Special thanks to DaVita Dialysis, Russellville, for their love and care for our mom over the last six years.
Pinkard Funeral Home will be directing.

Betty was a very sweet charming person loved by all who knew her. She loved God,her family and friends as they were and never passed judgement. Heaven has gained a new special angel. We will miss you Betty and always remember your kind and gentle spirit. Rest in Peace dear lady.
