Betty Ireland

Dear Family of Betty Ireland,
Like my brother Dudley, I knew your mother in Beaverton, Oregon. I was a babysitter for Mike and Matt (1950-1953). Your mother was smart and a great personality. I had no idea of her WWII record. I loved my Aunt Betty Ireland. I share your loss.

I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of my Aunt Betty. My mother, Katherine Winslow Ireland, was an older sister of Rainsford Ireland. We lived not far from Rainse and Betty in Cedar Hills, Beaverton, Oregon in the 1950's so, although I was quite young, I did get to know Betty and my cousins who were also quite young in those days. It is such a pleasure to know she has loving children and lived an exemplary life. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on my Aunt's passing. I will ask my Priest to pray that her soul may rest forever in that eternal dwelling-place.
