Dear Family of Betty,
My Christmas Card just got returned to me today and I wondered why.....
I am Glenn Burris' Niece. I sent her a video of me singing. Did she ever listen to it? She wrote to me that her eyesight was poor but I hoped she could hear me sing. I included a favorite song Glenn used to sing. I was planning on visiting her this summer. Betty was very nice to me and left a lasting impression when she visited us many years ago. I hope her death was peaceful and that her loved ones have a full heart of good memories.

Dear Kristin, Heidi, and the rest of Betty's family,
My husband Jay and I were truly lucky to have Betty as our Ambassador when we moved into the Atrium. She did a very thorough job of introducing us to everyone and everything in our new location. As three psychologists, we all found we had many common interests.

Thank you for the wonderful obituary account of Betty's many accomplishments in her very active life. She was a truly remarkable woman who will be very much missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her.

My sincere condolences to her loving family,
Lois Stack

Dear Kristin & Heidi,
I will always remember Betty. She was a woman, a lady of rare qualities. She met everyone with a smile, listened and comforted those in need with such ease in a very sincere and compassionate manner. I am a retired RN from MMC and I know I have been privileged to have had Betty as my "co-worker".

Dear Kristin & Heidi and to Betty's entire family:

I am deeply saddened to hear of Betty's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Betty for 19 years in the Department of Psychiatry at Maine Medical Center. She was such a lovely lady and friend. She always made everyone feel important and special always wanting to hear how your day and life was going. I was so lucky to share so many special times in my life with Betty. She was at my wedding shower; my wedding; my baby shower and shared in the excitement when I gave birth to my two sons. She adored her family and I always loved hearing about all of her adventures. She will always hold a special place in my heart. You are all in my thoughts and prayers and may your many wonderful memories bring you peace at this most difficult time.

Love always, Lori (Fusco) O'Donnell
