Betty Jo Keaton

Betty Jo (Lowe) Keaton, 82, of Parkersburg died Wednesday August 12, 2009 at Ohio State University Medical Center. She was born in Harlan, KY, a daughter of the late Ernest Burleigh Lowe and Madge (New) Lowe Smith. She worked for Broward County, FL Revenue Collection and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Vienna, WV . She is survived by her husband of 60 Years, James Ernest Keaton; daughter Deborah Huffman and her husband Timothy of Parkersburg; son James Michael Keaton and his fiance Sami Sullivan of Pompano Beach, FL; grandsons Mark Earls and his wife Chelsea and Zachary Keaton; granddaughters Kimberly Cunningham, Samantha Fisher and husband D.J., and Amy Smith and husband Jay; great grandchildren Meghan Cunningham, Olivia Joyce and Oliver Cyrus Earls, Joshua and Brianna Fisher, Jake and Leah Smith; a brother Robert C. Lowe of California, niece Carol and nephew Bob; and Billie E. Smith of Chesapeake, OH, nephew Steve and niece Carla. Services will be Sunday 3:00 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Jon Lands officiating. Visitation will be Sunday 1:30 - 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Graveside services will be Monday 1:00 pm at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Huntington, WV, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
