Betty Line Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Mar. 25 to Mar. 27, 2023.
Betty Joan Line, 87, passed away on March 22, 2023. Betty is survived by her husband Buryl, sons Gary (Karen), David, Steve (Tracy) and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Katie Jane Renschler and siblings Evelyn, Erma, Lester and Howard.

Betty was born in 1935 in Hanover, IN. She is a graduate of Hanover High School and Indiana Business College. In 1955 she met and married the love of her life, Buryl Line, and went on to have three beloved sons. She first worked as a Court Stenographer for the Bartholomew County Courthouse and was later a secretary at Northside Middle School for several years. Betty was always up for a new adventure (shopping, anyone?) and loved being with her family and friends. She was a member of First Christian Church and was active in both her card clubs and the Beta Sigma Phi sorority. When she wasn't brightening someone's day here, she and Buryl could be found enjoying the Florida sunshine.

The family has chosen to forgo a funeral service. In lieu of flowers, friends are invited to donate to the Greater Indiana Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, 800-272-3900 or www/alz.org/Indiana.

Miss you so much Mrs.Betty. You taught me so much as your caregiver. Giving you your foot rubs, walks, laughter, your dedication to your family, talking about Florida, the list goes on sweet lady. You were a strong beautiful lady
