Graveside rites for Betty Ann Faulkner Quick, 100, of Tyler will be held at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery with Reverend Gerry Giles officiating on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.

Betty went to join the good Lord and her husband Billy Quick, Saturday, July 8, 2017. Betty was the only child of the late Will and Bess Holliway Faulkner born on November 30, 1916 in Tyler. She attended Tyler ISD, Tyler Junior College and Tyler Commercial College. She was a life time member of Marvin United Methodist Church, Charter Member of Daughter's of the Nile and nominated Queen in 1969-1970 for the Temple in Tyler. Betty was an avid fan of the Texas Rangers baseball team. She became Mrs. Billy H. Quick on December 12, 1942 and they celebrated 65 wonderful years together until his death in 2008.

Mrs. Quick is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Kay Quick of Tyler; grandsons, Brian Quick and wife, Terra of Franklin, Tenn., Justin Quick and wife, Kari of Austin; four great-grandchildren, Julia Katherine and Greer Chandler Quick, both of Franklin , Tenn., Bo and Sidney Quick of Austin, one sister-in-law, Juanita L. Quick of Waco.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Marvin United Methodist Church and Azalea Trails Assisted Living & Memory Care both in Tyler. Online condolences maybe left at www.burkswalkertippit.com.
