BETTY MARGARET REYNOLDS

April 11, 1930 - April 18, 2010 Betty Margaret Reynolds, 80, of Kansas City, MO, and formerly of Tipton, MO, passed away April 18, 2010, at North Kansas City Hospital. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, at Muehlebach Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 11. A second service on Wednesday will be at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, in rural Clarksburg, MO. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. followed by the service at 3:30 p.m. Interment will be at Hickman Cemetery in Clarksburg. Memorial contributions may be given to Mt. Moriah Church or to a charity of your choice. Betty was born April 11, 1930, in Tipton, MO, the only child of Loyd and Maude Reynolds. She attended schools in Tipton, Waynesville, Warrensburg and Kansas City. She graduated from Northeast Senior High School in 1948. At a very young age, she started her working career in the family business in Tipton and ending 59 years later in Kansas City. She was employed at Harzfeld's (Ladies Specialty Store), Gustin- Bacon Insulation, K.C. Police Credit Union and retired from St. Luke's Hospital. Betty was baptized at an early age at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Her grandfather and great-grandfather helped to build the church which was attended by all of her mother's family. Betty enjoyed life, especially the outdoors. She and her father loved horses and they rode them regularly at her grandparents' home. Betty loved all animals and sports.
