Betty was a kind and gracious lady who loved her family and was proud of each one. It was a pleasure to work with her at TXI for many years.
She would always greet you with a big smile and ask how your day was going!
My deepest sympathies go out to her entire family and to her son Robert Ruiz, with whom I worked for 40+ years.

Betty and Tony were such a cool couple. Betty had a sense of humor and I always found it easy to talk to her. The last time I saw her we went down memory lane about the "long drive" the family would make from Ft Worth to Dallas and the buckets of KFC we would all share and how you guys couldn't stay too late because Tony had to get up so early. Betty was always sweet, funny, strong and kind. I will miss our rare but occasional chats. Prayers for you Robert, Kathy, and Carlos. May your families know peace and comfort soon. Blessings to you all.

I am so very sorry for your loss. When I saw Carlos in February, I had every intention of going to visit her but then Covid hit and I wasnt able to do so. I have very fond memories of Betty. She was so good to my kids and a great neighbor! Her tamales were fantastic! :-) We will miss her and her beautiful smile.
