To the entire Sloanaker family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Carol, we have lost touch since the store closed, but I am thinking of you and remembering all of you in my prayers and thoughts. As always, Barry Green

The Slonakers, now, there is a name. A group of people sent by God to teach the rest of us. I always felt good when they were around. This lady was the leader of the family and taught them so well. My deepest sympathy for the family.
Amazing Grace says, "When we've been there ten-thousand years..." Blink your eye; 10,000 years is just a blink of the eye to Eternity and God's kingdom.
Again, God bless the Slonaker's; there are those of us who love them dearly.
John 3: 16.

Dear Slonaker family, I have heard so many good things about Betty and her work and kindnesses that she shared with the children from the Oregon Hill community through the Grace Arents Free Library, I count it a privilege to be part of that long line of librarians who have been able to continue in Grace Arents' tradition. I was given a compliment today from Paula (Miller)' Glenn, who said I reminded her of Betty.
I love that the children from this community remember the early librarians. I regret that I did not know Betty personally, but feel a direct connection to her as the current librarian at Grace Arents Free Library!

Dear Slonaker family, I hold you in my prayers and know that God has welcomed a Mother, a Grandmother, a Greatgrandmother, a teacher and a mentor into his fold.
